This is a 2-section and 6-step course curated from open sources by PDC coaches. Body scan is a foundational mindfulness practice designed to deepen the connection between the mind and body. During a body scan the practitioners are guided to direct their attention systematically to different parts of the body, often beginning at the feet and moving upward to the head. This deliberate process invites individuals to observe each area with curiosity and openness, letting go of expectations or judgments about how their body "should" feel. The practice can be done seated, lying down, or even standing, but a comfortable and quiet setting is generally recommended to facilitate focus.
