Mindfulness is used in several therapeutic interventions, including mindfulness-based cognitive behaviour therapy, mindfulness-based stress reduction, and mindfulness meditation."
There are several recent studies that have shown that athletes and performance artists who practice mindfulness have improved their concentration and reduced competition/stage anxiety, which leads to an enhanced overall performance. A great majority of the elite athletes and performance artists DO practice mindfulness.
