How Do We Structure Our Classes?

Category: Courses

31 Jul 2024

Our courses are STRUCTURED. They are not just randomly filmed workout sessions where we all leave it to chance whether you get it right; or long tedious videos where the instructor provides lengthy explanations as they demo the exercises so a 10-min routine becomes a 2-hour video and therefore, impossible to watch and repeat as a workout session.

We use 3 different structures for our online classes:

Single Step Classes, Multi-step Self-Paced Classes, Multi-Step Scheduled Classes.

Single Step classes contain single video, length of which ranges from 2 to 20 mins. Our Yoga, Breath and Meditation sessions are usually of this structure.

Multi-Step classes offer detailed teaching. All the other category classes are of this structure. They’re either scheduled, which means they require you to follow them day by day, as are the Challenges; or self-paced which means you can complete the course at your pace.

Multi-step Self-Paced Classes comprise the largest amount of our online classes. Each step may be one class and the totality of the steps is one course, as is the case with the Online Pole Training. Or, as it is the case with the 10 Min Workout, it may consist of several short videos you can single out and do one; or do all of them one after another. Or, as it is the case with Mobility 1, the class may feature one real-time flow routine you can watch and do along with your instructor and there will be steps which provide detailed explanation on the whole set by dividing it into bits in the following steps

In short, the difference of our online system is that our courses are STRUCTURED. They are not just randomly filmed workout sessions where we all leave it to chance whether you get it right; or long tedious videos where the instructor provides lengthy explanations as they demo the exercises so a 10-min routine becomes a 2-hour video and therefore, impossible to watch and repeat as a workout session.

We separate them into uninterrupted flow routines and explanation videos. Once you learn how each exercise or routine should be executed correctly so that you will benefit from it the most and you’ll prevent injuring yourself doing it, you can only go by the uninterrupted flow video. The steps may include upgrades to the exercises you may find too easy in time, or easier alternatives if you find them too hard. You get to connect to your instructor via the Student Groups and ask for mentoring and feedback. This is only possible if you’re a membership holder, of course.
