November Updates

Hello PDC Army,

We have been quiet in the last two months but we have been working very hard to bring you the best online content to support you in your movement journey. The biggest addition to our online system in these two months has been the online Mindfulness courses prepared by our Yoga and Meditation Coach Ayça Turan.


We published 4 Mindfulness courses. You can view them all under the Mindfulness category of the Online Classes page.


Introduction to Mindfulness is the main one. Belly Breathing, which is a free course, is also a part of the Introduction to Mindfulness course, like Yoga Nidra, which is available for solo purchase or as part of our membership plans. You can give these two classes a go before signing up for the whole Introduction to Mindfulness course.


The fourth course we have published under this category is What's Mindfulness? course, which offers educational materials as well as reading suggestions to better explain you the concept of Mindfulness. This course is both free and progressive like our PDC Movement Quality Guide.


Speaking of which, we have updated our movement quality guide with a new step about hip mobility.


We also updated our Mobility 1 course with two new steps under the Upgrades section. One of these is the "Shoulder + Hip Mobility Superset," which we use a lot in our Mobility classes. The second upgrade is a new lateral leg slides routine to improve your side lunges.


We have also published two brand new courses: Strength and Conditioning 1, and Active Flexibility 1 both of which follow a programme identical to our offline Strength and Flexibility classes. Neither course is suitable for Newbies. Particularly Active Flexibility 1 is only suitable for those who have some passive stretching back ground and have no ROM issues. However, our Strength and Conditioning 1 course is both suitable for Dancers and Athletes category. You can best view which course is more suitable to your level and needs via checking them out through the Courses page.


 

Early November Event: "The Mindful Self"


Our Yoga and Meditation Coach Ayça Turan is hosting a workshop titled The Mindful Self on 6 Nov, Wed. The workshop programme includes a talk about what Mindfulness is and some breath, asana and meditation exercises to complement.

Much more is coming your way this November, as we're hoping to activate our livestream sessions from our studio classes and a new online exotic pole dance course. We'll add more steps to our progressive courses and start a new challenge, too. We're also preparing our winter collection which will soon be listed on our online store pages.
