Bhujangasana/Cobra
The name Bhujangasana originates from two Sanskrit words, Bhujanga which means "the cobra snake" and asana which means "pose"

Benefits:
This posture ensures stretching of the upper part of the spine. Additionally, it strengthens the back muscles and massages the internal organs, especially the liver and kidneys.
This pose resembles a cobra with its hood raised. Symbolically this pose encourages developing your self-awareness.
The snake relies on its surroundings and its vibrations and uses it as a compass to find its direction. It's there to teach us that to move forward, we must work with our environment, listen and watch carefully, and act in just the right moment. The cobra is a stealthy predator which means that focus and agility are its chief survival skills. The Bhujangasana is designed to awaken the snake qualities in the yogi. Cleansing the body and the mind and bestowing grace to the yogi’s body and strengthening the upper back are only the beginning of a long list of advantages of the cobra pose.
Focus: Focus on the breath and its integration with the movement. After entering the pose, focus on the abdomen and waist area.
Who should not do it: Patients with ulcers, hernias, and pregnant women.
